Photos from April 2011 Woodland Ops course in Ft. Payne, Alabama. This 5-day course covered wilderness survival, map and compass wilderness navigation, and basic rope skills in a woodland environment. The first two days students were allowed personal gear as they learned skills in a controlled environment. The last three days of the course students were only allowed an issued minimal personal survival kit, a knife and team gear (rope, harnesses and 3 flashlights). Sign up for our next class here.
